We want to thank everyone from Rock 92.3 and from Budweiser for making the Bikini Contest even bigger and better than last year. All the girls were awesome, and I think I can safely speak for all the guys in saying that it was a pleasure to see them all strut down "The Dock That Rocks". I am on vacation this week, but as soon as Mike and I gather up all our photos, I'll post them, probably around Tuesday or so of next week. Primal Heart set all kinds of attendance records Saturday night, so we're all chilling just a little this week. Thanks again to all of you who come down and kick back with us!!

This past weekend was a totally action-packed day of fun, and night of entertainment!!! The armwrestling tournament was a blast, complete with young guns, and power pullers. Hey guys, we need to keep Keith Graham, the bass player for Prowler, in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. He and his daughter were in a horrible car accident a couple of weeks ago. His daughter was treated and released, but Keith has been in intensive care for quite some time. I love Primal Heart & Prowler. I thought Minus One & Profyle were great bands, too. Will they be playing at the dock this year? I have to admit, I did not care for the DJ or Mister Meaner. I heard Profyle recently and they are really rocking. Hope you can get those guys to play this summer. The Grove is cool, too!!!

Nobody's any more anxious to get this party started than we are, but we still have a few improvements to go. We usually open around the middle of April, and rest assured, we'll be there, but all the construction around the dock may not be complete until the latter portion of the month. Its been too long since we partied on the Tea Room Deck. We are in the middle of some changes down at the dock, but it won't be long til we can get some cobwebs out of our system and play on the river again. Hey guys, I've been getting some email about maybe having a Halloween Party like we did last year. I talked with Linda and Dedi, and with the cooler temperatures, and the abundance of fall maintenance at the dock, we're probably not going to do the Halloween gig. It was, and is a blast to do those things, but we're making some improvements this fall that will put us in position to really do some dock rockin next spring. I guess its time for us to talk about what a wonderful summer it has been. We should thank everyone that helped out during the floods. Maybe its time to reflect on the good times on the river. I'm sure we should talk about the awesome bands that rocked this joint all summer long..... Naaaaaa..... that would sound too much like a farewell speech, so instead, let's look forward to a cozy winter with our friends and families, and to the next season of fun at Fisherdale Dock. We will be making some changes during the winter at "The Dock That Rocks", some subtle, some not so subtle. Check back here from time to time and see what's goin on, or comin up..........

I am really looking forward to the River Rat Bike Rally on June 9,10 & 11!!! This is a benefit for Saint Jude and we hope to raise lots of money for the kids! I love this website, all you people look like you have a great time there.......if i can get some directions (from Tupelo), i promise to come and be part of the big party on the "The Dock That Rocks" I absolutely love "The Remains" OMG.........they are legends in their own time and sound better everytime they play!! (HOTT!!!) "Prowler" you guys are awesome and have been for years (NEMCC). I have seen both bands many many times, but never in the atmosphere like the pictures you show of the dock!!
